“Dutch for parents” is our project for Dutch-speaking schools, day-care centres and child healthcare centres.
Many parents who are not Dutch-speaking have children in a Dutch-speaking school or day-care centre or go to a Dutch-speaking Kind en Gezin child healthcare centre.
With “Dutch for parents” they get information about how they can learn or practise Dutch in Brussels. Dutch-speaking employees are given tips on how to communicate more clearly and how to help parents in Dutch.
Schools can also start “Dutch for parents” classes or conversation tables.
